Aoyama Receives Superb Reception in Japan

The 250cc World Champion is greeted by more than 100 people at Honda’s headquarters in Tokyo.

Hiroshi Aoyama is in Japan this week enjoying his new status as World Champion of the quarter-litre class.

The Welcome Plaza, in Honda headquarters in Tokyo, was the scene of a press conference at which the 28 year-old discussed his career to date and, of course, his triumphant 2009 season.

The 250cc World Champion, who currently lives in Barcelona, plans to spend a few days off in Chiba with his family, before travelling to Sepang where he will continue his pre-season preparations with his new Interwetten Honda MotoGP team from December 21st to 23rd.
